Con el sal\u00f3n de actos lleno ha abordado el examen del d\u00eda como una oraci\u00f3n que lleva a plenitud todo el proceso que se ha podido vivir en los Ejercicios Espirituales. Para Adolfo Ch\u00e9rcoles hay un paralelismo entre el fin de los ejercicios: \u201cpreparar y disponer el alma para quitar de s\u00ed todas las afecciones desordenadas y despu\u00e9s de quitadas buscar y hallar la voluntad de Dios\u201d; y el proceso que San Ignacio propone en el examen del d\u00eda.
