La conferencia vers\u00f3 sobre las misiones jesuitas en el Paraguay, en el contexto de la pel\u00edcula \u201cLa misi\u00f3n\u201d. Wenceslao Soto hizo un recorrido por el origen de las misiones de la Compa\u00f1\u00eda en Am\u00e9rica, como se generaron y cu\u00e1les fueron las circunstancias que dieron lugar a este fen\u00f3meno tan singular.
