Rafael V\u00e1zquez, recientemente nombrado por el papa Le\u00f3n consultor del Dicasterio para el Di\u00e1logo Interreligioso. &nbsp;El desarrollo de la Conferencia consisti\u00f3 esencialmente en hacer part\u00edcipe al auditorio de su experiencia personal, puesto que hab\u00eda asistido a la Conferencia de Egipto el oto\u00f1o pasado. La charla fue animada con una serie de diapositivas, que nos acercaron a los presentes al evento. El comunicado final de la Conferencia de Egipto: \u201cProfundizar en la Unidad, caminar en el amor y restaurar la esperanza\u201d, resume a su vez el contenido de la Conferencia del Prof. Andr\u00e9s Valencia, quien enfatiz\u00f3 como el Concilio de Nicea, del que hemos celebrado el 1.700 aniversario, puede ser el mejor ejemplo para seguir. &nbsp;En Nicea se limaron las diferencias y se lleg\u00f3 a la unidad desde las diferencias. Es mucho m\u00e1s lo que nos une, todas las Iglesias que est\u00e1n en el Consejo mundial confiesan el Credo niceno, que las diferencias que surgieron despu\u00e9s. Es muy importante, pues, hablar de la profunda experiencial bautismal fundamento de toda eclesiolog\u00eda. El ponente termin\u00f3 con un canto de esperanza para seguir en el trabajo ecum\u00e9nico por la uni\u00f3n de todos los que creemos en Cristo.
